I can't help but notice at some point that Funimation thought Itsuki was saying "Hell and Tear" when it's "Heel and Toe."

Still, that has got to be the worst Heel-and-toe execution - in an equally worse AE8X product.

I felt so bad for itsuki when he ended up with the AE85. I almost considered building an AE85 on the ID:V3 arcade game but it was too awful so I had an S15, an R34 GTR, and a WRX instead.

If anything, I personally don't see why having an AE85 is b-well, unless you're looking at a performance standpoint, yeah, but what's so different to the 86? Apart from a 3AU sitting under the hood and horrible suspension setups, it's basically light package and RWD. What more can you ask for?

Suspension tuning was a big part of it from what I recall. Also a lack of LSD I think. Remember - up until the late 70s, almost all American cars were RWD, regardless of size or use. I don't think many people are clamoring for the old Nova to be used as a handling machine. It was "light" and RWD but it was still a very large car with a live rear axle and a steel body. From what I recall, the 86 fixed a ton of handling issues the 85 had in addition to using a better engine. Remember, when takumi hopped in the 85, even though he did pass those idiots on the mountain they knew it was the 85 and not an 86 because of how bad the body roll was. That was the cultural equivalent of an American knowing it was "just a normal mustang" by how the rear end behaved because it kept the live axle.

The AE85 also used drums in the back instead of 86's discs.
